Census Enumeration stage
A successfully executed PHC depends on people who can direct and manage the field operation. A well-organised and coordinated team of supervisors and enumerators are required and who must be recruited earlier enough to be trained and start the enumeration without delay. Supervisory personnel tend to be persons who are familiar with the area to which they are assigned; know the local language; and are able to deal with local problems. Subsequent to the enumeration, the census organisation is usually readjusted to meet the needs involved in processing and cleaning the data.
