The town of Gouyave; the main fishing village has been the center of attraction for the festival. It's a week of activities which culminates with a church service for fishermen and vendors, followed by a procession to the beach where the Priests bless the boats which are beautifully decorated.  Later, Government officials give speeches and prizes which end with a massive ‘Street Jam’ and fireworks.
