Dellan Felicien is a young St Lucian currently pursuing his Associate's Degree in Computer Engineering Science and a Certificate in Spanish. He most recently completed his Certificate in Web and Application Design.
In addition to his keen interest in Technology, Dellan enjoys spending his time working on perfecting his skills in drawing, design and software development which he hopes to use in pursuing his career path.
Intrigued by the idea of working with the OECS, which he perceives as a symbol of unity, was Dellan's main reason for wanting to be part of our internship program. His experience however, seemed a bit challenging at first because of his personal self doubt but over the course of the program began to get his “swimming legs”.
He concluded that his experience can be described in one word, “educational” as he was able to gain a better understanding of skills and capabilities. The skills which he doubted at first he now has more confidence in and wishes to improve. Also educational because of the new skills he acquired and the knowledge he now has of the OECS member states.
