This paper seeks to highlight the need for reform in major areas of Family Law. Each member state of the Organization of Eastern Caribbean States is required to comply with the obligations under the following Conventions: (1) The Convention on tl}e Elimination of all forms of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW) (2) The United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (3) The Inter-American Convention on the Prevention, Punishment, and Eradication of Violence Against Women
