Government of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines - Ministry of Finance, Economic Planning and Information Technology - Improving Response and Resilience of the Health Sector to COVID-19 Project

Eligible bidders will be required to submit full qualification information with their bids establishing their eligibility to bid and qualification to perform the contract if the bid is accepted. Tender and qualification information will be submitted in English on the prescribed forms inserted in the Bid Documents. Submissions that do not provide the information required or demonstrate the prospective contractor’s ability to perform satisfactorily, will not qualify and will not be considered for further evaluation.

Bid documents will be available for inspection at the first address below, from Monday, September 30, 2024, on weekdays between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM. A complete set of Bidding documents can be obtained by interested bidders at no cost, upon submission of a written request to the first address below. Requests must be made in writing and must be marked: “Request for Bid Documents for the Supply of one Biomedical Waste Disposal Vehicle for the Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment – Improving Response and Resilience to COVID-19 Project”. The Bid document will be sent to all applicants via e-mail to the address(es) provided in the written application.

Password-protected or encrypted bids must be submitted electronically via email with this subject “SVG-COVID-19-GO-NCB-1: Biomedical waste disposal vehicle for the Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment - BID”, and must be delivered to the second address below no later than 1:30 PM EST on Thursday, October 31, 2024. Bids will be opened publicly immediately after the deadline for submission of bids, in the presence of Bidders' representatives who choose to attend at the second address below. Qualification information only must be submitted simultaneously to the third address below.

Each bid must be accompanied by the required Bid Securing Declaration. Late bids will be rejected.

The GoSVG, Ministry of Finance, Economic Planning and Information Technology reserves the right to accept or reject any bid, and to annul the process and reject all bids, at any time prior to award of contract, without thereby incurring any liability to the affected prospective bidder(s) or any obligation to inform the affected prospective bidder(s) of the grounds for GoSVG /Ministry of Finance, Economic Planning and Information Technology action. The GoSVG will not defray any costs incurred by any bidder in the preparation of bids.
