Transforming education, one Grant at a time: Unleashing the power of Continuous School and System Improvement Plans.

Welcome to the OECS PEARL Continuous School and System Improvement (CSSI) Plan Grant Website! Our mission is to support school leaders in the development and implementation of CSSI plans meant to transform schools into professional learning communities that build their own capacities and direct them towards improving the quality of education for all relevant stakeholders.

This initiative is brought to you by the Organisation of the Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) Commission through the work of the Programme for Educational Advancement and Relevant Learning (PEARL). Guided by the vision of the OESS, “Every Learner Succeeds,” the OECS PEARL was envisaged to advance education in the region through increased access and improved student learning in basic education.

Component three of the programme aims to enhance educational leadership and management competencies and processes for improved classroom instruction and student achievement. To achieve this, the OECS PEARL has assigned funds for the development and delivery of short professional development programmes for leadership capacity strengthening, and grants to support the implementation of innovative, change-embedded, evidence-driven Continuous School and System Improvement (CSSI) plans. Please note that our grants are awarded for two years, during which grantees will implement their plans and at the end thereof, will submit a research report detailing the outcomes and impacts of implementation. This research report will be published for knowledge sharing purposes.
