The Académie de Martinique is an educational district managed by an regional education authority. It is responsible for organizing the administrative, teaching, educational and counselling resources allocated to it. The Rector has authority over both primary and secondary education. As Chancellor of the University, she is responsible for harmonizing and monitoring Tertiary education.
