Embassy of France in Castries

The Embassy of France in Castries is assigned to strengthen relations between France and the O.E.C.S Member States (Antigua & Barbuda, Commonwealth of Dominica, Grenada, Saint-Kitts & Nevis, Saint-Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines), and also with the O.E.C.S secretariat. The Embassy is composed of a diplomatic Chancery, a consular section, and a Department for Co-operation and Culture. The ambassador's role is to maintain diplomatic relations with the host country, represent the French Head of State and government, inform the government of current events in the host country, and promote the French economy, science and culture abroad.
