INVESTOR DATA ROOM

The Investor Data Room is a curated platform of high-growth potential green businesses in the Eastern Caribbean seeking to connect with investors. These businesses were selected through a rigorous call for applications to identify high-growth potential sustainable entrepreneurs under the Global Green Growth Institutes’ “Greenpreneurs” Accelerator Programme. The data room constitutes a set of online folders where all company-level documentation is stored. The company folders in the data room will only be accessible to Investors and the Project Steering Committee, upon signing a non-disclosure agreement in keeping with GGGIs’ data management policy. Companies can manage their own folders and the data room ensures access to company-level documentation and information to facilitate investor-matching while ensuring transparency and accountability of the program´s processes.

Jhon Wuilliez - Grow Compost Factory

Image

"Grow Compost Factory Ltd. has been in the business of converting Antigua’s organic waste into commercial grade organic compost since 2021. Compost's value to agriculture, waste reduction, and the environment is well known worldwide, but only beginning to be appreciated in Antigua. Because of our current limited production capacity and the huge demand for our product, we are looking to expand the business to a commercial-scale facility. With our new facility, we'll move from a one-man backyard operation to a continuous flow, partially mechanized process, requiring significantly less manual effort by volume, while generating hundreds of times the quantity of finished compost, and offering it at a much lower cost by volume to the consumer. This is a unique opportunity to produce an environmentally beneficial product for a customer base that desperately needs it, in a market with no current competition."

I am Rhonda St Hill-Blanchard from the beautiful, nature isle Saint Lucia.  My husband and I started farming around our home. However, during the Covid locked down period we experienced a shortage in food supply due to harsh climate conditions topped with interruptions in the shipment.   This is where our journey began to establish an innovative farm with climate controlled greenhouses and an aeroponics system to mitigate the economic and environmental risks thus, having a consistent supply of natural produce.

Regal Farms is the proud recipient of the Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI) grant which was used to complete a 20ft shaded green house to produce oyster mushrooms with the assistance and training of Alexis Willams of Funky Fungi.
